You gave us a wonderful gallery to browse this week and I loved the various ways you used my sketch.  Thank you to everyone who played along!  Krista's adorable card caught my eye this week.  The way she used her farm scene for the sketch elements was so clever and doing it with a limited colour palette is even more impressive! Congrats Krista you are this week's Queen of Clean !

Freshly Made Skeches #679 - A Sketch by Karren

Welcome to Freshly Made Sketches!  Each week, one member of our design team creates a sketch for you to try.  The challenge is to follow our sketch while keeping your project clean-lined and fresh.  The "Clean Team" has come up with some "Freshly Made" designs to get you in the spirit.  We are so excited to see what YOU create!



Hi, it's Karren and I'm your sketch designer this week.  I've added a few different layers to the sketch so you can have some fun using up some of that patterned paper we all seem to collect, or layer up with something else - the options are endless!

On a team personal note, this is the last week on the team for our dear Jacquie.  Over 6 years of inspiration and wow have we been lucky to have her with us.  She is still creating but focusing on other crafts instead.  Thank you, Jacquie, for being such a wonderful teammate and designer!!











We have a few simple rules to keep things fun and fair for all of our players:

  • Please use any crafting product you would like to use.
  • Feel free to combine our challenge with up to THREE other challenges, except for another sketch challenge.
  • Please add a DIRECT link to your blog or other online gallery when adding your card to the link below.  If linking to a public gallery, use keyword #FMS679.
  • Include our challenge sketch and a link back to Freshly Made Sketches on your post.
  • Have fun!
This challenge will end at 3:00 EDT time on Monday, March 31st.  On Tuesday, we will announce the winner of this week's challenge who will be known as the "Queen or King of Clean".  The team will choose other gallery favorites to be known as a "Perfect Princess or Prince."
